Essential Oils can seem like such a HUGE mountain to climb if you are a newbie. When it comes to natural options in general, consistency is key in having good results. Natural options including essential oils will work, but you can’t always expect overnight success, especially with chronic issues. Sometimes you WILL see immediate results, like with emotional issues, skin problems, or minor concerns, but for the most part when you start using essential oils, you want to consistently use them every day to get the maximum benefit from them.
The best thins to do when getting started with essential oils is to focus on one area of your life that you want to see change. For example, I use essential oils for Thyroid support. I have been able to manage my issues with natural methods, but I have to make sure that I am using my chosen products consistently everyday. I keep the oils next to my bed so I remember to apply them in the morning and at night before bed. So here are my tips to getting started.
1. Choose one or two essential oils that you want to try. Do your research and choose high quality oils. Don’t try to overdo it when you are getting started.
2. Put your essential oils in places around your home where you will remember to use them throughout the day. Consider putting some into another container like a roller bottle or sample bottle so you can keep them in your purse or next to your desk.

3. Give it time. Use your oils for 30 days consistently before making an assumption about them and if one doesn’t work, try a different one. There are so many options out there and everyone’s body chemistry is different so what may work well for one person may not work so well for another. Don’t give up!
